Client is a leading North American provider of logistics technology and transportation management services for manufacturers, retailers, chemical and consumer packaged goods companies.
The client had been experiencing steady growth over the last 5 years. However a key concern going forward was, how to grab new market opportunities fast enough and press the accelerator on future growth.
Manual processes across rate lookups, route optimization, audit logs, order management and several other areas served as biggest roadblocks in its pursuit for process excellence and future expansion plans.
The client’s management team has realized that technology intervention was needed to automate some of these repetitive mundane tasks across the above areas to increase customer satisfaction.
Our Team has started RPA implementation with 2 bots across order management, freight forwarding and rate look ups. The bulky, repetitive, rule based processes across these areas served to be an ideal candidates for automation.
Ui Path tool was chosen for its resilience and ability to perform in various environments and proven NLP capabilities.
The bots were responsible for handling the process of order creation (orders received by email –> involves NLP based text extraction) in the ERP system, getting rates from various freight forwarding companies and inserting in to the portal,
and getting the latest status of the client’s customer shipments all with out manual intervention.

Client is a leading chemical manufacturer that operates in most of the countries with manufacturing sites spread across the globe.
The client had challenges with integrating data from different sources that is stored in multiple ERP systems, PLM systems and IoT systems.
The client wanted to improve efficiency of reporting services between various internal teams and reduce the wait times associated with data consolidation.
Business and operations team had to wait for one business day to get reports needed for customer and machine performance analytics and had to rely on IT teams for generating reports.
We implemented a data virtualization solution to integrate the data from various internal and analytical systems.
Optimized the SAP BI environment.
Enabled near real time access to production data that improved operational efficiency of operations teams.
Self service reporting on Tableau enabled end users with direct access to data for further analytics without intervention of IT teams.
Our project involved us to get familiar with the Android Development environment
and thus develop an application to serve as a personal companion to one.
We basically focused on the location fetching part and somehow utilize it to
develop a reminder app.
So what our app does is fairly simple, you enter a note you want to be reminded of
and within that note is the location where you want this app to notify you as soon
as you get there
Android software development is the process by which new applications are
created for the Android operating system. Applications are usually developed in
the Java programming language using the Android Software Development Kit.
ADT ( Android Development Tools) is the software used to develop android
apps. It basically encases Eclipse IDE, which is a multi-language Integrated
development environment (IDE) comprising a base workspace and an extensible
plug-in system for customizing the environment.. The latest version comes with
ADT plugin preinstalled and bundled to the IDE.
SDK (Software Development Kit or "devkit") is typically a set of software
development tools that allows for the creation of applications for a certain software
package, software framework, hardware platform, computer system, video game
console, operating system, or similar development platform.
Android Virtual Device (AVD) manager enables us to launch virtual android
devices/ emulators in our PC and run the app in the emulator,
and at the same time we can track and debug each app activity from the Logcat in
our IDE.
We approached this project to learn about the android development
environment not merely to sneak the code from tutorials and copy-paste to
build something.
With this in mind, first we developed a lot of apps which implements
different aspects of android ability and which were, totally unrelated to our
project.
Among those were a primitive calculator, username-password
authentication window, Splash screen music player, a primitive camera app
and others
Now, after getting pretty much exposure in android development, we
decided to go ahead with our project app. Ignoring the futile attempts to add
many features in our app,which unfortunately could not be made possible,
the work of our final app can be divided into the following phases
